We are News Relay Network, an organization developing a new model of journalism that shares editorial power with audiences. NRN publishes the Tenderloin Voice, which serves San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood online and through a zine. The Voice's audience directly influences what news we produce, including by contributing their own stories.
Your gift to News Relay Network allows us to compensate community contributors and translators, in a neighborhood that is linguistically diverse. It helps defray the cost of supplies and equipment for news gathering and printing. And it enables us to operate the Voice at a location in the heart of the Tenderloin, accessible to our neighbors.
Donations made via this page are tax-deductible through our fiscal sponsor, the Tiny News Collective.
